Between household chores and caring for her siblings in a lower-middle-class interracial family, she finds strength to persevere in her mother's memory and affection. With delicacy and a touch of surrealism, the short film reveals the power of the bond between mother and daughter, addressing universal themes such as childhood, longing, and gender inequality. Inspired by a true story.
